Yila — AI research support for a traceable literature review

EducationResearch & Academic Tools

Yila is an AI research agent for work that starts with a question and needs a defensible explanation. Its website presents research workflows for exploring papers, examining evidence, and developing scholarly writing. The useful distinction for a researcher is the connection between a draft and the material behind it: a readable paragraph still needs sources that can be opened and checked. Consider a student defining the scope of a literature review. Before drafting, they can specify the topic, the publication period, and the kinds of studies they want to include. They can then compare the papers they find, retain the bibliographic details, and note disagreements or gaps. Yila belongs in that research workflow as assistance with organizing the work, while the student remains responsible for deciding which evidence supports each claim. An AI research agent should be judged on the questions it helps resolve, rather than the length of the text it produces. Check citations against the original publication, distinguish a paper's reported finding from an interpretation, and keep uncertainty visible. Never assume that an automatically prepared reference is correct merely because it looks complete. Yila is a web service with paid plans. Visit the official site for current features, plan limits, and pricing before beginning a project. This listing describes its intended research use; it does not claim that a generated review replaces subject expertise, peer review, or a supervisor's guidance.
